Relationship Management

Relationship Management demands courage, character, honesty and the ability to face and understand our own contributions to relational joy and difficulty.

Professional and personal relationships determine our life quality and hence it is fundamental for us to cultivate mindful relationships with ourselves and others. It’s a continued self-appraisal and effort to become a better human being and compassionate in relations to others.

Some individuals will journey with us for a lifetime and others are meant to teach us or learn from us for a moment.

The struggle is mostly  to accept that we do not always obtain the outcome, closeness or closure we desire.  It is difficult at times to realize what’s good or healthy for us at a given moment. Resistance to what is often leads to ongoing pain rather than acknowledgement that in many life situations e.g., partner , career, and friend choices we want what we want. However it’s not always good for us. …Maybe we should acknowledge: “Perhaps you dislike something which is good for you and like something which is bad for you. Allah knows and you do not know (Sarah Al-Baqarah 2:216).

You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in the future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
